Quality Assurance in Ohio Adult Protective Services

Sponsored by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), the Quality Assurance in Ohio Adult Protective Services project aims to help Ohio’s Adult Protective Services (APS) system use administrative data for quality assurance and to strengthen ODJFS’s ability to provide ongoing technical support to develop best practices, determine barriers to compliance, and identify service gaps. CETE partners with the College of Education and Human Ecology’s Department of Human Sciences as well as the Ohio Education Research Center within the John Glenn College of Public Affairs. Our associates are designing processes and training to assist ODJFS staff in using the Ohio Database for Adult Protective Services to support quality assurance processes with local APS programs.
