WebXam™ Secure Online Test Delivery System
WebXam™ is an online test delivery system that serves a range of clients from career-technical education, workforce development, and credentialing, delivering approximately 500,000 tests to 150,000+ test takers each year. The system offers a wide array of features including data tracking, individual and aggregated results reporting, and automatic score reports. WebXam scores assessments immediately after completion, offering test takers the ability to view and download score reports in multiple formats. The platform supports several log-in account types with varying access and account privileges. WebXam™ can work with clients to configure these accounts so only specific users can view certain test content and reports; enter scores for portfolios, projects, and performances; and schedule and manage for test taker administration sessions.

The CETE Assessment program owns and operates the WebXam system. CETE assessment staff have expertise in psychometrics, facilitation, user support, and technology. WebXam IT staff provide email or phone support during conventional business hours, though the WebXam™ system is available 24/7. The system is configured to handle a large volume of test takers and users. The roster upload process can add 10,000+ students/test takers to the WebXam system. Each year, WebXam staff add new features to improve user ability, proficiency, and the overall user experience, such as improved disaster recovery features and inline Spanish translations.
Outside of the WebXam test delivery platform, CETE also provides several other services related to test development, maintenance, evaluation, and revision, including developing criterion-referenced assessments; establishing cutoff scores; and analyzing test data to guide the item and test form revision process.
