National Rural Water Association Apprenticeship Partnership

CETE is partnering with the National Rural Water Association (NRWA) in support of professional learning experiences for water and wastewater professionals serving small and rural communities. This multi-phase project integrates four connected activities—DACUM analysis, task verification, curriculum alignment, and curriculum framework development—anchored in CETE’s internationally-recognized methodologies for job analysis and instructional design.

Together, these integrated activities create a rigorous, evidence‑based process that strengthens NRWA’s focus on high‑quality, competency‑based training, ensures alignment with authentic workplace requirements, and supports the preparation of a skilled and knowledgeable workforce for key water industry roles.
