Tricia Hughes-Fitzgerald

Patricia Hughes-Fitzgerald, MEd

Patricia Hughes-Fitzgerald (MEd, University of Cincinnati) is a Program Specialist at the Center on Education and Training for Employment (CETE), where she supports multiple teams, including Advancing Ohio’s English Learners (AOEL), CETE Assessment Services, Curriculum and Training Solutions, DACUM, and Ohio’s Parent Mentor Project with her subject-matter, facilitation, and process expertise.

Tricia brings over 20 years of experience in education to CETE. She spent 15 years as a high school social studies teacher before transitioning into the role of Curriculum and Instruction Specialist at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH. It was from there that she joined CETE. Tricia holds bachelor’s degrees in History and Secondary Education and a master’s degree in Secondary Education – Curriculum and Instruction all from the University of Cincinnati.

When not working, you can find Tricia entertaining friends and family with the comedic exploits of her tween sons, her dog Tater Tot, and their pandemic-era additions to the family, cats Chicken, Waffles, and Toast.
