James Harvey

James Harvey is a System Engineer/Developer at the Center on Education and Training for Employment (CETE), where James manages the Learning Management System (LMS) and Online Registration System.

Over the last 20 years James has managed LMS platforms at the College/University and State level. He has extensive knowledge with a variety of LMS platforms including Blackboard, Moodle, ANGEL, Desire2Learn, Sakai, etc. He has managed nearly every facet of LMS’s including implementations, account management, course development, API integrations, course management, technical support, upgrades, and the research and implementation of new functionalities, etc.

In addition to James’ work with LMS platforms, he also researched and implemented the Center’s Online Event Registration platform (Cvent). Recently James became a Cvent Certified Event Management Professional and he is eager to continue implementing and streamlining the Center’s registration processes.

James is golfer, enjoys karaoke, and is an avid BUCKEYE fan from Marysville, Ohio.
