
Amanda Aring
Amanda Aring serves as a program coordinator on the Assessment Services team, coordinating workshops and meetings, reviewing and editing test items, and assisting with other center-wide writing and editorial projects.
Amanda is a writer and editor at heart, working most of her career in K-12 educational publishing as well as email marketing and many years in the non-profit sector. In her spare time, she is a freelance writer/blogger, craft enthusiast, wife, mother of a fourth grader, and caretaker to Ellie, a large tabby cat, and Buttercup, her ill-behaved Dachshund. Her forthcoming flash-nonfiction essay, Nine, was featured in the literary journal under the gum tree in July 2019.
