Makah Tribe

The Results Management Team (RMT) at CETE is partnering with the Makah Tribe to support the evaluation of their Circles of Care project, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Circles of Care is a three-year discretionary infrastructure grant whose primary goals are the following:

  • Plan for the development of a community-based system of care model for children, youth, and families
  • Develop local capacity and infrastructure to assist tribal communities in obtaining funding and resources to implement a system-of-care model to improve the wellness of their children, youth, and families

RMT is conducting evaluation and capacity-building activities in conjunction with designated Makah Tribe representatives. An integral part of the work is focused on building the capacity of designated Makah Tribe representatives to evaluate this and future projects. As such, RMT staff are providing access to a variety of capacity-building information and actively coaching designated Makah Tribe representatives to support their production of quality evaluation products and reports.
