We are engaged in a partnership with the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) in a statewide effort to build the capacity of Ohio Local Educational Agencies (LEA) to engage and support the families of all students, particularly students with disabilities, English learners, migrants, justice involved, military, and students experiencing homelessness and foster care. Our associates are designing and implementing customized professional development, a community of practice, and coaching to develop LEAs’ capacity to provide accurate and meaningful technical assistance to school administrators to improve identification; enrollment and transfers; attendance; and increase communication, outreach, and engagement.
