Outstanding Special Education Teacher Award

A special education teacher from one of our mNET partners was awarded the Outstanding Special Education Teacher Award. Brenda McNair from the Clark County School District in Nevada received this award from the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET). This award is bestowed on special education teachers who have demonstrated outstanding achievement as a teacher in the field. Nominations are made by teachers’ respective school or district administrators, colleagues, and parents. Candidates are judged based on teaching criteria, service outside the classroom, and professional activities.
