CETE Actively Involved in the 2018 OAACE Conference

In September, over 200 adult basic education practitioners attended the two-day Ohio Association of Adult and Continuing Education (OAACE) conference. This statewide conference was a success due in part to the work of CETE.

WebXam Experiences Landmark Fall Pretesting Window

Each fall and winter, WebXam has a pretesting window to assess students' prior knowledge in a course. In the fall of 2018, WebXam experienced its highest numbers of pretesting.

CETE Staffer is Awarded $4.2 Million Grant

The U.S. Department of Education has awarded $4.2 million to Dr. Barbara Boone at (CETE) within the College of Education and Human Ecology for a Statewide Family Engagement Center. This funding from the DOE’s Office of Innovation and Improvement will be used to develop a Statewide Center at The Ohio State University to serve Ohio’s families and schools.
