CETE Hosts Annual Open House

On September 26, 2018, CETE celebrated 55 years of bridging research and practical solutions to impact communities, education, and workforce development with an open house. During this open house, clients and outside guests were in attendance get to know the center, its projects and the people behind them.

During the open house, we heard opening remarks from Don Pope-Davis, Dean of the College of Education and Human Ecology (EHE), Eric Anderman, Chair from the EHE College, and Ana-Paula Correia, Director of CETE.

The clients and guests were open to visit the various projects around the building, where they could learn about the assessment services provided to the state of Ohio, the DACUM International Training Center, Curriculum and Training Solutions, the Results Management Team, Educators and Families for English Learners, and Corrections Career Technical Teacher Licensure Program. Also, our Grants Support and Fiscal Services showed their pre and post award-related work and IT Support and Systems Analysis staff hosted an opportunity for clients and guests to participate in a Virtual Reality experience.

CETE hopes that all in attendance enjoyed their time at the open house and will join us again next year to continue to participate in our growth as a center.
