Mobilizing National Educator Talent (mNET) Recruitment

The Year 5 report by evaluators at the Youth Policy Institute in November shows Mobilizing National Educator Talent (mNET) exceeding targets for all four cohorts of Teachers of Record (ToRs). mNET exceeded the project goal of 1,111 teachers by 20%, recruiting a total of 1,337 ToRs. Given the difficulty of recruiting teachers in STEM, bilingual education, and special education, this is a notable achievement.

mNET is funded by a Transition to Teaching (TTT) grant designed to increase the number of highly effective teachers and supportive school leaders in chronically low-performing school districts with staffing challenges.
