Meet CETE: Keya Crenshaw

New CETE Associate Keya Crenshaw

Keya Crenshaw joined CETE on January 14, 2019, as the Communications and Marketing Coordinator with a split appointment in CETE & The Ohio Statewide Family Engagement Center. Keya is from Columbus, Ohio and attended the Ohio State University where she received her BA in 2006 with honors and double majors in Women’s Studies and Film Studies. She will soon apply for the MBA for Working Professionals at the Fisher College of Business also at The Ohio State University. Keya has previously held positions at The Ohio State University in the Office of International Affairs and the Kirwan Institute, as well as the Brooklyn Arts Council and Columbus Post Newspaper.

Keya is also Founder & Creative Director of Black Chick Media, where she acts as a Marketer, Film Festival Consultant, and Writer. As an artist, Keya also works as a Social Media Manager for the National Arts Marketing Project arm of Americans for the Arts, and is a member of numerous organizations including the League of Professional Theatre Women in New York City, the So and So Arts Club based in London, England, and Past Productions Columbus. Keya loves shoes, acting, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Currently, she is reading Akata Warrior by Nnedi Okorafor.
