HackOHI/O

A CETE staff member participated in the annual HackOHI/O event on November 19-20 at the Ohio Union. Cara North, an instructional development specialist, was a judge at the event this year where students design, build, and demonstrate projects. The hackathon teams are given prompts and asked to build or design a solution to a problem. These teams of no more than four individuals build interactive web applications. The goal is to create a practical process that links a worker’s experience to a persona that fits a worker into one of Ohio’s in-demand jobs. This event also has technology workshops for beginners and promotes diversity in technology.
