SCID (Systematic Curriculum and Instructional Development) is a process designed to quickly and systematically produce relevant, high-quality, competency-based instructional materials founded on a job or occupational analysis. SCID is a proven, effective, and efficient model of instructional design that with the assistance of an instructor, delivers WHAT should be taught in the form of learning guides, modules, or other student-centered learning materials. Major users include CTE educators and business-industry trainers.
