CETE Staff Present at the International Personnel Assessment Council

CETE staff Bob Mahlman, Brooke Parker, and Jim Austin attended and presented at the annual conference of IPAC (International Personnel Assessment Council) August 1-3 in Sacramento California. This membership group brings together a range of public sector employees with responsibilities in developing selection and promotion exams at the city, county, state, and federal level. Vendors also attend to exhibit and present research and conceptual innovations. Brooke Parker and Bob Mahlman presented on a newly designed approach to conducting job analysis at a distance. This approach is being field tested by CETE in partnership with the Association of Transcription and Speech-to-text Providers (ATSP). The goal of this approach is to save time and travel expenses associated with conducting job analyses that are national or international in scope.
