For the second year in a row, CETE has produced a Voices from the Fieldreport highlighting the work done by Ohio’s Regional State Support Teams to support Family and Community Engagement in Ohio schools. The report contains a page for each regional State Support Team. For example, last year SST region 4 provided a two-part early literacy series for families, and this year they provided targeted professional development, coaching, technical assistance and resources to strengthen home-school-community partnerships within Painesville City Local Schools (PCLS). The report provides a snapshot of how the Ohio Department of Education’s regional offices support schools and families statewide, and allows Ohio’s regions to learn from one another about how Family and Community Engagement supports are operationalized in each region.
