Amanda Aring

Amanda Aring is a program coordinator at the Center on Education and Training for Employment (CETE), where she coordinates workshops and meetings, reviews and edits test items for the Assessment Services team, and assists with other center-wide writing and editorial projects.

 

Amanda is a writer and editor at heart, working most of her career in K-12 educational publishing as well as email marketing and many years in the non-profit sector. In her spare time, she is a freelance writer/blogger, craft enthusiast, wife, mother of a fourth grader, and caretaker to Ellie, a large tabby cat, and Buttercup, her ill-behaved Dachshund. Her forthcoming flash-nonfiction essay, Nine, will be featured in the literary journal under the gum tree in July 2019.
